The developer-reported permit
HAMBURG TEAM says it received the building permit for Uffelnsweg on 19 August 2026, bringing the Hamburg housing project closer to construction. The company announced the milestone on 26 August.
SAGA has acquired six of the buildings containing the subsidised homes. The remaining 37 apartments have been sold to HAMBURG TEAM’s Urbane WohnWerte II fund. Together, those transactions cover the whole development.
The site sits at Uffelnsweg and Katenweide in the southern part of the Elbe island of Veddel. The developer’s project description places it near the Müggenburger Zollkanal and within walking distance of Veddel S-Bahn station.
Coido architects has designed a mixture of compact one-room apartments and larger homes with up to four rooms. Each apartment is planned with private outdoor space. The scheme occupies approximately 4,748 square metres of land and comprises around 15,500 square metres of gross floor area.
The developer is targeting above-ground construction from late 2026 and completion in summer 2028. Those dates are its programme, rather than confirmed delivery milestones. The permit announcement provides the basis for this report; GoSiteHunt has not independently inspected the municipal permit or its detailed conditions.
